Erbil, Iraq
We are looking for an Inventory Manager to keep our supply chain healthy across Iraq, end-to-end. This is a working-manager role: you will plan demand, maintain real-time inventory accuracy, lead a small warehouse team, protect cold-chain integrity, and be on the warehouse floor during peak periods. If you prefer to plan only from a desk, this is not the right role for you.
Responsibilities :
Inventory planning and stock availability
Plan demand with Sales, set reorder points based on principal lead times and their variability, and maintain stock availability on consumables, reagents, diagnostic kits, ultrasound consumables, and critical spare parts so that customers receive what they need on time.
Warehouse leadership and hands-on engagement
Lead the two-person warehouse team across Erbil and Baghdad. Set goals, hold weekly one-on-ones, certify new storekeepers, and maintain a documented coverage plan for absences. During peak periods — major receipts, end-of-quarter pushes, and cold-chain shipments — be on the warehouse floor packing orders, supervising handling, and working alongside the team.
Inventory accuracy, costing, and compliance
Keep records accurate in NetSuite through disciplined cycle counting, full landed-cost capture on every purchase order, and complete serial, lot, and expiry traceability on regulated SKUs. Protect cold-chain integrity from arrival through to delivery, with every excursion logged and investigated.
Vendor performance and import coordination
Manage principal performance on delivery times and product quality. Coordinate with Finance on letters of credit and with clearing agents on customs documentation, so that no shipment is delayed by paperwork errors on our side. Track demo, loaner, and customer-placed equipment as Saaeda assets.
Working capital, reporting, and continuous improvement
Drive down obsolete inventory and expiry write-offs, hold inventory value within agreed bands with Finance, and report inventory health weekly to leadership with clear, actionable numbers. Document core inventory workflows as SOPs and keep them current.
What We Are Looking For
• 4–6 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management, ideally in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or another regulated distribution business.
• Hands-on experience with an ERP system; NetSuite is a strong plus.
• Strong Excel skills (pivots, lookups, dashboards).
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Pharmacy, or Business.
• Arabic native, professional English. Kurdish is a plus.
• Willing to be based in Erbil and to travel to Baghdad roughly once a month.
• Comfortable being on the warehouse floor when the team needs the help.
