Saaeda is strengthening its finance team and is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our operations in Erbil. This role is critical in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and providing management with clear and timely financial insights.
We are seeking a committed and analytical professional with a solid accounting background, strong organizational skills, and a high level of integrity. The ideal candidate will be capable of handling day-to-day accounting operations while supporting financial decision-making.

📌 Financial Reporting & Budgeting
Prepare reports that support the annual budgeting process in line with development and performance improvement objectives. Prepare monthly financial statements with the necessary explanations and analyses for management.
📌 Accounting Operations
Supervise and monitor all accounting, financial, and reporting activities. Ensure timely reconciliation and analysis of general ledger accounts.
📌 Treasury & Cash Management
Prepare treasury reports and forms in accordance with treasury policies and procedures. Monitor all accounting and bank transactions and balances, reporting them daily to the Accounting Manager and Company Director.
📌 Controls & Compliance
Propose and support the development of internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure effective operational monitoring. Follow up on tax affairs and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
📌 Audit & Inventory Coordination
Coordinate and facilitate the work of internal and external auditors, providing all required financial information. Participate in inventory processes and prepare discrepancy reports when needed.
📌 Payroll & System Review
Review and approve monthly employee salary and benefits statements before submitting them to the Accounting Manager. Review system-generated reports and ensure their accuracy.
📌 Professional Development
Continuously develop professional skills through training courses or self-learning throughout the year.

Contribute positively to the company culture, achieve agreed-upon objectives, and perform any other duties within the scope of the role and expertise.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 2-4 year of accounting experience
Practical experience with accounting software systems
Proficiency in English, Arabic and Kurdish (reading, writing, and speaking)
Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to prepare financial reports and forecasts
Strong organizational skills for managing invoices and deposit records
Effective negotiation skills with customers in cases of non-payment
Solid knowledge of invoicing and collection procedures in compliance with the law
Good understanding of account support processes and training new employees
Ability to stay up to date with industry trends and legal changes
